Why stop blogging for a while is totally okay

Many articles talk about the importance of starting writing, expressing your voice and give tips on how to start, how to deal with blocks. But what do you do when you don't feel like communicating? When life gets tough, it can be hard to find the motivation to create. In those moments, I fall silent. I don't want to just create content for the sake of it, because it wouldn't be genuine. This does not mean that I have completely stopped writing. My morning notes remain with me, serving as both a source of mental support and an opportunity to hone my writing skills. However, these writings are deeply personal and are meant only for me and the pages they are written on.

As writers, we must remember that our creativity ebbs and flows. There will be times of intense inspiration and productivity, as well as times of quiet reflection and introspection.

It is okay to take a step back and focus on what truly matters in the present moment. It is okay to let go of the pressure to constantly produce and share content. So, when there is no internal urge to share something with the world, it is important to honour that silence.

Because there is only one motivating voice, and it must come from within. This voice helps navigate through the noise of the external world; it shows a direction to find our true selves behind our roles. Living, working, and writing from this space offers an experience without expectations, in which we have the freedom to speak out when we have something real to say. This is the space where writing happens on its own. Because it wants to be expressed. Without any force.

So, if you find yourself in a period of silence, embrace it. Let the silence guide you and allow your voice to speak when it is ready. Trust that your words will find their way to the world in their own time.
